Installed YouCast

and YAY! Yet another program which can't be closed and keeps running in background..

Can't even register -.-

Running in background is by design in order to receive push notification. It does not impact the battery consumption. But receiving/send file does.

If register failed, try the following:

STEP 1. Go to Options ==> Advance Options ==> Applications go to the bottom of the list and locate YouCast, select Edit Permission, set ALLOW for all and save.

STEP 2. Go to options (wrench icon) ==> advance option ==>TCP/IP
check the box near "APN Setting Enabled" and input the APN name (most time userid & password are blank).
You could google the web (blackberry APN Setting for XXX, click for one example) to find out the APN name of your carrier or directly call the carrier for the info.

STEP 3. Reboot Blackberry and go to youcast register screen, make sure phone # has number only (no dash, no space), try to register again.

If above steps does not help, please go to view log and email the log to us.
